Kansas
Yay! I am here in KS and hanging out with Chris. After two months apart, it feels really nice to spend some time together. Long-distance kinda sucks, but I'm glad we've been doing so well regardless.
Conveniently, the intense heat wave that's been roasting central Kansas seems to have dissipated today, so it doesn't feel like a sauna outside anymore. The humidity was ridiculous. My roommate Kristine talks about 'biting the air' in Florida (where she's from) and I think I know what she means now. One should not feel like one is swimming through the atmosphere--particularly not in a notoriously dry region of the country!
Ok, off to spend some more time with Chris. Yay!
